Russell County Solid Waste Department in partnership with the Clinch Valley Soil and Water Conservation District, Russell County Community Works Program, Cumberland Plateau Regional Solid Waste Management Authority and the Russell County Board of Supervisors will host its annual Environmental Day at the Russell Co Government Building parking lot in Lebanon, VA from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Materials to be accepted include: Old Paint, Pool Chemicals, Aerosol Cans, Antifree, Gasoline, Mercury, Pesticides, Herbicides, Legal Documents or Office Paper to be Shredded, Electronics and pasenger tires-limited to 10 passenger tires per household  For more information contact 276-889-8000,  April 19. 2024 Buchanan County Environmental Day.
