to the Cumberland Plateau
Regional Waste Management Authority, providing solid waste
management for the counties of Buchanan, Dickenson and Russell.
CPRWMA became a nonprofit organization in the spring of 1992. Since its
creation, the CPRWMA has provided waste disposal and recycling programs
for the counties of Buchanan, Dickenson and Russell.
Three regional transfer station are Owned and Operated by the Authority:
Buchanan Co Station-1912 Buchanshire Rd, Keen Mountain, VA.
Dickenson Co Station-322 Dog Branch Gap Road, Fremont, VA.
Russell Co Station–1786 Century Farm Rd, Dickensonville,
VA.
